Dr. Bridget Holden, M.D.

Bridget Holden, M.D., is a board certified general surgeon and a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Holden has just joined Dr. David Kim and will be assisting with bariatric cases, handling general surgery cases like gallbladder and hernia surgeries as well as melanomas, soft tissue masses and lymph nodes.

Dr. Holden received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated with Honors. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. During her residency, she was published in several medical journals. She was honored with the Five Star Spirit Award for Excellence in Patient Care.

Dr. Holden is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, Dallas Society of General Surgeons, and Society of Baylor Surgeons.

Dr. Holden was born and raised in Dallas, where she now lives with her husband and three children.

Band adjustments will be performed by a licensed health care professional with the aid of x-ray technology called fluoroscopy. Adjustments under fluoroscopy result in a more accurate adjustment and aid in diagnosing any issues with the device.

Scheduling an Appointment
To schedule an appointment time, please call us at 1-855-BAND-FILL during regular business hours or leave a message after hours and someone will call you back as soon as possible. No walk-in’s please; you must schedule an appointment in order to receive this service.

All band fills will take place in the Forest Park Medical Center North building, 11990 North Central Expressway, Dallas, Texas 75243. For directions please call our reception desk at 972-234-1900.

Preparing For Your Lap-Band Fill

	To prepare for the adjustment, you must not eat solid foods for 4 hours prior to your appointment time.
	Fluids may be taken up until 1 hour before the appointment.
	A staged diet will be required following the band adjustment which will be discussed at your fill appointment.
