AccuraScope Procedure (
North American Spine)
AccuraScope™ Discectomy and Neural Decompression (D.N.D.)
AccuraScope™ D.N.D. at North American Spine is a minimally invasive, natural opening procedure used to both diagnose
and treat inter-vertebral discs, spinal stenosis and many other causes of back pain.
Important to know:
- The procedure is usually completed in 30 to 40 minutes and most patients experience immediate relief.
- Patients are usually discharged approximately one hour after surgery.
- Patients can walk the same day as their procedure, and can start gentle physical therapy exercises the next day.
- Many patients can resume normal activities the following day, and most can return to work in under a week.

Ascendant Neurostimulation (
Migraine Procedure)
Ascendent Neurostimulation
Research shows that by safely and gently stimulating certain superficial nerves of the head, neurostimulation may treat
the underlying cause of headaches instead of simply "masking" headache pain.
Important to know:
- Ascendant Neuro can test this treatment to ensure it works prior to permanent treatment.
- There are no physical limitations after treatment.
- Our doctors have been internationally recognized due to significant clinical research that supports the efficacy of the
Neurostimulator treatment.
- Neurostimulation is covered by most major insurance carriers.

Sinus/Balloon Sinuplasty
Sinus/Balloon Sinuplasty
Studies show that sinusitis affects 37 million people each year, making it one of the most common health problems in the
US. With symptoms affecting people physically, functionally and emotionally, many sufferers are turning to Balloon Sinuplasty
Technology.
The Benefits of Balloon Sinuplasty™ Technology:
Safe and Effective
While use of any surgical instrument involves some risk, clinical research has indicated the Balloon Sinuplasty™ System
to be safe and effective in improving symptoms of sinusitis.
Minimally Invasive
The technology uses small, soft, flexible devices that enter entirely through the nostrils. These devices gently open blocked
sinus openings, in many cases without tissue or bone removal.
Minimal Bleeding
Because in many instances no tissue or bone is removed when using this technology, there may be little bleeding associated
with the procedure.
Quick Recovery
Time While recovery time varies with each patient, many people quickly return to normal activities.
Does Not Limit Treatment Options
This technology uses an endoscopic tool and may be used with other medical therapies or sinus surgery techniques. It does
not limit future treatment options if you have progressive disease.
